Ireland’s biggest student event is back!
The Leopardstown Student Race Day returns on Wednesday, 9th April 2025 for a day of thrilling racing, fashion, and entertainment at Leopardstown Racecourse.
Expect the great racing, serious buzz, DJ’s, best dressed style and fun games.

FAQ's About Student Race Day
No, this is a ticket only event. Pre-purchase is essential. Once the event is sold out, no further tickets will be issued.
Gates open at 11.15am. The first race is scheduled for 1.15pm. Over 18’s ID and bag searching will be in place so expect delays on arrival.

Yes, SPIN1038 Race Day is open to all students.
Yes, you can still attend without a student ID. The event is strictly Over 18’s. You cannot attend as a minor being accompanied by an adult
Please take J15 off the M50. Avoid J14 as there will be long, heavy delays on the route.
We advise students to take public transport, where possible. A complimentary shuttle bus service is offered on all race meetings from the Sandyford Luas stop before and after racing.
