Directions & Parking

Leopardstown Racecourse is located just six miles south of Dublin city centre. It is easily accessed by car, the Luas, or bus and linked to Dublin Airport through Public Transport. When driving, it is best to take J15 Exit off the M50 and park in Car Park G, to avoid congestion on the Leopardstown Road.

 A complimentary shuttle bus service is offered on all race meetings from the Sandyford Luas stop. Additional services are provided from Blackrock Dart Station and Heuston station for major festivals.

Car parking is free, but we do advise racegoers to allow ample time for the journey on race days. We provide a free shuttle from all Leopardstown car parks.

The LUAS offers a regular service from Dublin City Centre to Sandyford that takes about 20 minutes. The racecourse is only a short walk from the Sandyford station and Leopardstown also provides a complimentary shuttle bus service on race days.

The racecourse is a 15 minute walk from the N11, which is served by a number of Dublin Bus routes including the 46A, 145 and 155. The 114 to/from Blackrock DART station also stops at the main gate of the racecourse.

Dublin Airport is about an hour from Leopardstown. Please allow additional time for your journey due to possible traffic congestion at peak times. Aircoach operates a 24 hour service from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, every 15 minutes, seven days a week every day except Christmas Day. Route 700 is the Dublin Airport to Leopardstown service and racegoers should get off at the last stop which is at the Clayton Hotel in Leopardstown. Tickets can be purchased on the Aircoach website www.aircoach.ie, on the mobile app, from the Airport kiosk or from the driver.
