Leopardstown Racecourse has announced the date for this year’s Leopardstown Ladies’ Evening which is due to take place on Friday 17th of May.


Now in its 3rd year, the popular Dublin track will once more turn pink in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland for an evening seven race card.

The Leopardstown Ladies’ Evening in Aid of Breast Cancer Ireland | Friday 17th of May 2019

All racegoers can saddle up for an evening of summer vibes and top racing. The Champions Bar and Terrace overlooking the newly designed pre-parade ring will bring guests up close to the power and beauty of each horse as they are paraded before heading for the track. The Champions Bar and Terrace also playing host to an inspirational Peak Performance Q&A Session with top racing professionals before racing. The Champions Terrace will also host gourmet food vans, outdoor entertainment and live music to create the perfect summer evening atmosphere.

Commenting on the Leopardstown Ladies’ Racing Evening Pat Keogh, Chief Executive of Leopardstown Racecourse noted:- “We look forward to our third year hosting a fun evening of racing, entertainment and inspiration in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland. Commenting on the Leopardstown Ladies’ Racing Evening Aisling Hurley CEO of Breast Cancer Ireland remarked:- “We are delighted to be involved for a third year with Leopardstown’s Ladies Evening and raising awareness on the importance of good breast health for women of all ages. We aim to transform Breast Cancer from often being a fatal disease (680 deaths annually) into a treatable long term illness. We are extremely grateful for the support we receive and the awareness generated - thanks to everyone for your generosity in supporting our race for a cure.”
 

Commenting on the Leopardstown Ladies’ Racing Evening Lady McCoy commented:- “I’m a passionate supporter and mentor of entrepreneurs, particularly women in business. As a working mother, I fully understand the many challenges in maintaining a work-life balance. I very much look forward to sharing my experience, tips and life advice at the Race Forward event. The event itself supports a fantastic charity and is a refreshing and welcome evolution for “ladies days”, which I am delighted to support."
