Leopardstown's Christmas Festival runs over four days from 26th – 29th December. The Leopardstown Christmas Festival is filled with glamour, festivities, music, entertainment and of course top class National Hunt Racing.
The Leopardstown Christmas Festival provides not only World class racing for National Hunt enthusiasts, with seven Grade 1 races the day is also enhanced with a certain festive atmosphere that only Leopardstown, Ireland's premier race track, can offer.
To compliment the day we provide an additional range of gourmet food offerings, bespoke bars and lounge areas decorated to the highest standards, creating a luxurious environment in which guests can enjoy this unique race day.
The Centre of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival
Located at the heart of the
general enclosure, the elegantly dressed Christmas Festival Marquee is the
centre of all events that take place during the Leopardstown Christmas, The
Savills Style Awards, Winning Line and Live music after racing all take place
in the Christmas Festival Marquee which is accessible to all race goers.

Under 18’s can avail of free entry to Leopardstown racecourse but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
People aged 18 and above will be charged at the full admission price.

Our carefully selected panel of racing journalists, bookmakers, jockeys and trainers led by Leopardstown race day correspondent Denis Kirwin go through the races and give informed suggestions on the horses they feel have the best chance of winning.
Wednesday 26th December
Playing his eclectic hits like "Mary Keanes Introduction"; electronic music producer Daithi is obsessed by the culture of Ireland. The choice award nominee combines nature recordings, old Irish samples and analog synths to create a unique type of house music that’s soaked in Irish culture. A mainstay in the Irish gigging scene, his live show is an improvised performance, creating on the spot dance music using synths, drum machines and live fiddle.
Thursday 27th December & Friday 28th December
Leopardstown favourites "The Conor McKeon Band" winner of the ‘Band of the Year 2009-2010 /2012-2013 and 2016-2017; will be rocking festive marquee after racing, and if 2017 is anything to go by there will be no room to show off those dance moves!
Keep the Children Entertained throughout the day
The Christmas Marquee takes on a different feel on the final day of the Christmas Festival, as we fill it with fun inflatables and games for all the children along with a face painter to add some colour and fun to the day. We are also encouraging Children to get those Christmas jumpers out one more time, to be in with a chance of winning some fabulous prizes, a winter wonderland treasure hunt across the racecourse enclosure and lots of colouring activities and fun in the back of the race card. Children under the age of 18 years old go free when accompanied by an adult to all race meetings at Leopardstown.
