Leopardstown Racecourse is located just six miles south of Dublin city centre. It is easily accessed by car, the Luas, or bus.
There are a number of options available when travelling to Leopardstown Racecourse. Car parking is free, but we do advise customers to allow ample time for the journey on racedays.
Leopardstown is very accessible by car, easily accessed from the M50. Take exit 15 off the M50 and cross the flyover, following the signs for Leopardstown Racecourse. Parking is free so early arrival is advised on race days to ensure you get a
From Dublin city centre:
Take the N11 (Stillorgan dual carriageway) heading towards the southeast, past Stillorgan. Turn right at traffic lights onto Leopardstown Road R113 signposted Leopardstown. Continue straight and Leopardstown's entrance is on the left just before the traffic lights in front of the roundabout.
The LUAS offers a regular service from St. Stephen’s Green
to Sandyford that takes about 20 minutes. The racecourse is only a short walk
from the Sandyford station and Leopardstown also provide a complimentary
shuttle bus service on race days. The bus service runs 30 minutes prior to gate opening times until 30 minutes after the bars on site close. This service runs from car park A on the Leopardstown Road.
There is a limited
Complimentary shuttle bus operating from Blackrock DART station to Leopardstown
on selected race days.
Priority will be given to patrons who have purchased a Race and Rail ticket on
Leopardstown.com. although if there is room – the bus will accommodate your
group. Please check our website in advance of travel for operating dates and times.

There will be a complimentary bus shuttle From Blackrock DART Station at 10.45 | 11.30am | 12.00pm on any of the following 3 days: 27th/28th/ 29th December.
Customers who hold a Blackrock Shuttle Ticket get priority – therefore customers should purchase this ticket on Leopardstown.com as well as the time of the bus you wish to take for your chosen day.
Please note there is no DART service on St. Stephens Day.
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT
Dublin Airport is about an hour's drive from Leopardstown racetrack. Aircoach operates a regular bus service between Dublin Airport and Burton Hall Road which is adjacent to the entrance to Leopardstown racecourse . There are also regular bus services into the city centre from the Airport.
There are two entrances for cars to Leopardstown Racecourse you can use on race days. Car parking is free, but we do advise racegoers to allow ample time for the journey on race days. We provide a free shuttle bus from all Leopardstown car parks.
