Race Meetings Overview

The final day of the Christmas Festival is Ryanair Day featuring the Ryanair Hurdle, an ideal day to bring the family racing. Day Four of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival has also become part of the official New Year’s Eve Celebrations, and features a live concert after the racing.

Day three of the Christmas Festival, The Lexus Chase is one of the most prestigious races in the calendar and attracts racing enthusiasts from all over Ireland and Britain. This is also Ladies Day where winter racing fashion has an elegance and style quite different to the other seasons.

Day two of the Christmas Festival features the ultra-competitive Paddy Power Chase, the most valuable race of the Festival.

Leopardstown hosts its last flat race meeting of the year. The Tote Flat Finale is a must-see event for flat racing aficionados and racing fans in general. Tote Ireland sponsors all 8 races on the day. Awards for the leading flat trainer, owner, apprentice and jockey are awarded on the day.

The Killavullan Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Ireland open to two-year-old thoroughbreds. It takes place at Leopardstown each year. The race is run over a distance of 7 furlongs. Don’t miss the chance to see a potential classic contender in action in the Killavullan Stakes in 2016!

The Longines Irish Champions Weekend is a spectacular two-day meeting featuring ten Group races (Five Group 1 races) run across two legendary Irish racecourses. Leopardstown Racecourse & The Curragh

Family Fun Raceday at Leopardstown invites the families and community of Dublin to come together and enjoy horse racing with lots of free kids entertainment. With free entry for children under 16 and a host of activities, it's a great day out for all the family.

The 7 race card featuring the Ballysax Stakes is a great day for racing enthusiasts. Last year we launched a new experience 'Meet Heroes of the Turf' where racegoers had the opportunity to meet racing heroes such as A P. O'Brien, Pat Smullen and Des Scahill

The Spin Student Day is one of the biggest student events in Ireland. A fully formed race day included a student marquee, music, food, fashion and racing.
