    The feature race on Sunday 22nd October is the Killavullan Stakes. The Killavullan Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Ireland open to two-year-old thoroughbreds. It is an annual event at Leopardstown.The race is run over a distance of 7 furlongs. Don’t miss the chance to see a potential classic contender in action in the Killavullan Stakes in 2017! This exciting race is complimented by the Listed Trigo Stakes taking place immediately afterwards, which is guaranteed to extend the exhilaration of high class racing. It is restricted to 3yo and upwards that have not won a Group 1 race. The finale of the hugely popular Corinthian Challenge takes place on this day, completing a fundraising journey for fourteen riders in aid of the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund. It brings the competitors to three of the best tracks in Ireland, The Curragh, Gowran Park, and of course- Leopardstown Racecourse. Experience the elation of Leopardstown winner Sheikh Fahad Al Thani on Labaik (pictured to left) at Leopardstown on Sunday 22nd of October. 

    Tickets Terms & Conditions

    • Children under the age of 18 are only allowed into the racecourse when accompanied by a paying adult.
    • Students and those aged 16 or 17 must be in possession of the necessary identification in order to gain admittance into the racecourse at the reduced rate.
    • People aged 18 and above will be charged at the full admission price.

    The Corinthian Challenge

    The first leg of the 2017 Corinthian Challenge took place on July 16th at the Curragh and was won by Lynne McLoughlin. Leopardstown will host the final leg of the 2017 Corinthian Challenge on October 22nd. All funds raised by the Corinthian Challenge will go to the Irish Injured Jockeys fund.
