Leopardstown Racecourse Announces Siobhan Rutledge Sponsorship

L-R Leopardstown Racecourse CEO Tim Husbands with jockey Siobhan Rutledge.

I’m delighted to announce my partnership with Leopardstown Racecourse. I’m incredibly grateful for this amazing sponsorship opportunity and I can’t wait to represent their brand on and off the track

Siobhan is a rising star of the sport, who began her racing career in 2018 having graduated from the RACE Racing Academy. Siobhan has clocked up a total of 73 career wins to date, including winning the 2023 Connacht Oaks aboard Starry Heavens for Jessica Harrington. Rutledge currently rides out for trainers Sheila Lavery and Jessica Harrington, as well as long time supporter John McConnell at his Stamullen base.

During the season, Siobhan will be sporting the Leopardstown logo on her racewear and the Dublin track are looking forward to welcoming the sponsored jockey to race at the track where she had her first ever runner, this time as a sponsored rider.

Looking ahead to the 2024 flat season and the support of Leopardstown Racecourse, Siobhan said:
“I’m delighted to announce my partnership with Leopardstown Racecourse. I’m incredibly grateful for this amazing sponsorship opportunity and I can’t wait to represent their brand on and off the track. Their support means a lot to me as it was at Leopardstown itself where I had my first experience of race riding and fell in love with all that the sport has to offer. I’m really looking forward to kicking off this season with Leopardstown’s support behind me. I hope we can thrive together and inspire the next generation to pursue their passions fearlessly.”

CEO of Leopardstown, Tim Husbands said;
“We are thrilled to be supporting Siobhan through the 2024 season and following her progress all the way. Siobhan is one of our top female jockeys, and nurturing and supporting that talent is something extremely important to Leopardstown. Fostering the visibility of Women in Sport as well as the accessibility of careers within the industry is something we take pride in, and we look forward to being a part of Siobhan’s journey through the summer.”
