Racing Post to Sponsor St. Stephen's Day at the Leopardstown Christmas Racing Festival

Leopardstown Racecourse announced today that the Racing Post in Ireland will be title sponsor of St. Stephen's Day at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival in addition to sponsoring four individual races, including the Racing Post Grade 1 Novice Chase.
Mark Flood, Managing Director of the Racing Post in Ireland said: “We are delighted to partner with Leopardstown Racecourse on the opening day of their Christmas Festival. Ever since our dedicated Irish edition launched in Ireland in 2010 we have been building up to a sponsorship like this and we are really looking forward to our involvement with this fabulous racing and social occasion. There's a real momentum in Leopardstown at the moment and we want to be part of that.”
Ciaran Conroy Commercial Manager at Leopardstown said: “We welcome the Racing Post, a brand synonymous with Irish racing, as title sponsor of the opening day of our festival. St. Stephen's Day at Leopardstown is a major social event, long-established in the calendar of 'must dos' at Christmas.”

The Racing Post day will launch Leopardstown's 'Super Seven' National Hunt series which starts with the four days of Christmas and finishes with the Hennessy Gold Cup in February.
