20-2-FOLLOW COMPETITION 2013
HOW TO ENTER
It’s simple, select 20-2-follow in National Hunt races over the course of the season – beginning Thursday 31st January 2013 and running right the way to the end of the Punchestown Festival on Saturday 27th April, 2013 inclusive. Each list of twenty horses must contain at least eighteen from the list of horses provided, leaving you the option to pick one or two ‘wild-cards’ of your own if you so wish. Entries close Monday 28th January 2013.

SCORING
1. Selections count when winning National Hunt races under the Rules of Racing in Great Britain or Ireland during the period of the competition, or when runner-up in any of the bonus races contained in section 3 below.
2. Winning selections will be awarded points as follows:
50 points in a race worth more than £50,000 to the winner.
40 points in a race worth £35,001 and up to £50,000 to the winner.
35 points in a race worth £30,001 and up to £35,000 to the winner.
30 points in a race worth £25,001 and up to £30,000 to the winner.
25 points in a race worth £20,001 and up to £25,000 to the winner.
20 points in a race worth £15,001 and up to £20,000 to the winner.
15 points in a race worth £10,001 and up to £15,000 to the winner.
10 points in a race worth up to £10,000 to the winner
Prize money will be taken as the published race card Penalty Value to the winner. For races in Ireland, prize money published in Euro will be converted to Sterling at the official BHB conversion rate. The rate for 2013 is €1.25 to £, subject to amendment from 1 January, 2013.
3. 75 points will be awarded to the winner and 20 points to the runner-up in each of the following bonus races:

Any of the above races re-scheduled to take place outside the dates of the competition will not count.
4. In the event of a dead heat, points will be divided by the number of horses dead heating with fractions rounded down. No points will be awarded for a walkover. The official result on the day will be final with subsequent disqualifications disregarded.
5. Bonus points according to the official Starting Price odds will be awarded to winning selections as follows:

Over 5/1 up to 10/1 10
Over 10/1 up to 14/1 15
Over 14/1 up to 20/1 20
Over 20/1 up to 25/1 25
Over 25/1 30
In the event of no Starting Price being returned bonus points will not apply.
