Karen Koster to Judge Best Dressed at the
Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes
Lovers of Fashion and Horse Racing will come together this Saturday 6th September at the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown. The race is being widely heralded as ‘the greatest race in Europe this year’ with Duke of Marmalade and New Approach taking each other on in this high profile race.
HRI’s Fashion Ambassador and bubbly blonde Karen Koster is jetting in from the South of France to judge the most stylish lady who will take home a €5,000 voucher for House of Fraser, Dundrum Town Centre and a Linea outfit. Each of the 15 runner up’s will receive a goodie bag from House of Fraser. Ladies attending on the day can look forward to having their make-up touched up by leading cosmetic house Bobbi Brown.
An exciting new feature on Champion Stakes Raceday is the ne Krystle Champagne Marquee which is open to the public and located beside the parade ring and will be a focal point on the day.
Glamorous racegoers expected on Saturday include: Top Flat trainer and 19 Group 1 winner Aidan O’Brien and his wife Anne-Marie, Jim and Jackie Bolger, stunning artist Nina Di Vito and her glam pal Lisa Harrison, Krystle Managers Conor Buckley and Brian O’Malley and owner Rangan Arulchelvan, Xposé’s Aisling O’Loughlin, hypnotherapist Katie Jane Goldin, Nadine Wai O’Flynn, Lisa Moran from House of Fraser and Chick lit writer Marissa Mackle.
Karen Koster, HRI Fashion Ambassador said “I’m really looking forward to the Tattersalls Million Champion Stakes day it’s a really high point on the summer social calendar. I went last year as a racegoer so it’s exciting to go this year as the HRI Fashion Ambassador and to judge the actual ladies day. If last year is anything to go by there’ll be plenty of style and fun on the day”.

The first of eight races will get underway at 1.40pm with the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes off at 3.40pm. Racing enthusiasts will be looking forward to the much anticipated re-match 11 top horses lining up for the big race including the Epsom Derby winner New Approach and 6-time Group 1 winner Duke of Marmalade. On an excellent eight race card, the Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes is the second Group One event on the programme and 16 fillies remain in this mile contest. In a high quality race, there could be a fascinating clash between recent Goodwood Nassau Stakes winner, Halfway To Heaven, and Lush Lashes.
